Job Overview

As a Lead Analyst in the Global Commercial Services (GCS) – Opex CoE team, you’ll support financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and strategic planning. You'll work closely with internal teams and leadership to provide insights, ensure data integrity, and streamline reporting processes. The role is crucial in helping align financial operations with GCS’s strategic goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze P&L with variance and trend analysis, and provide commentary
  • Conduct root cause analysis for financial queries
  • Support month-end activities (e.g., reclassifications, accruals)
  • Drive standardization, automation, and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate across teams for efficient, high-quality reporting
  • Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and risk/opportunity analysis
  • Maintain process integrity and ensure compliance with controls
  • Work across time zones to support global financial operations


Functional & Technical Skills

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, LOB, P&L, and segment reporting
  • Must-Have: Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Preferred Tools: TM1, Oracle, OBIEE, Ariba, Tableau, Advanced MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


Academic Requirements

  • Required: B.Com/BBA
  • Preferred: MBA (Finance)
